Table pictures

Yes, the camera was in Shane's Celica. :)  It is now currently with the Geek Squad at Best Buy, hopefully getting fixed...  Here are the before and after table pictures.

Oops!

In my previous post, I left out the one other thing that was new this month, and this is the one that most affects my day to day routine.  I bought a new kitchen trashcan!  For all of you who have listened to me complain about it, yes, I finally got a new one.  Upgraded from the $7 Walmart version to the $15 one.  Oh yeah... :)

Changes in January

Wow.  There are a lot of very important changes that have already taken place this year in our house.  First off, we finally got blinds for our kitchen window!  Yay!  It only took 3 years, but it's done. :)  We also got a curtain that hangs in the opening of our walk-in closet, so it kinda has a door now.  Next, we got a real pot for our bonsai tree!  It is no longer sitting in a small pot with no bottom on top of a dessert plate, but in a beautiful pot.  It looks so much more official now.  And I have not killed it yet. ;)  Then, this past weekend we painted our bathroom ceiling with a high gloss paint, which will hopefully get rid of the black mold problem and the cracking paint, due to the humidity in there.  Shane thinks so, so I'm with him.  He is pretty much always right on that stuff.  I married a great handyman. :)  We went to IKEA and bought end tables for our bedroom and rearranged just a tad in there.  Shane put them together and we got them set up and they look great!  Lastly, (and it's a tie with the blinds) we got a new table and chairs!!  Goodbye old rickety table and creaking chairs!  Hello gorgeous new set!  The old set was a given to us when we first got married, and who can beat free stuff?  However, it had most definitely seen better days.  We've been seriously talking about a new set for about a year now, and finally decided to just do it.  My handsome man also put all that together.  Our house has been transformed!  I will put up pictures of all of this once I find my camera, which I believe is AWOL in Shane's Celica...  :)

ARGH!

So, my email account was hacked this morning and a nasty virus sent out to all my friends and family.  I am blaming it on setting up this blog.  Everything was fine until then...  Now I know Dustin would tell me it's because all of my passwords were less than 30 digits long and without a series of complicated letters and numbers nobody could ever remember (including myself!), much less hack... ;)  Anyway, I'm now getting to spend lots of time resetting all my user names and passwords and writing them down in a "little black book" so I remember them all.  Not really how I envisioned my morning going, but what do you do?  Needless to say, I shall not be so easy to hack in the future... :)

Here goes

I have decided to attempt to blog.  We shall see how this goes.  Due to my personality, my guess is things will be very sporadically posted, with no consistency at all. :)  I have today off and have laundry, cleaning and grocery shopping on my list, but instead I created a blog.  You can see where my motivation level is today...  Anyway, I decided to just get it set up, post one thing, tell Meg about it and then start on my list.  This is my post, and now I am going to go be a responsible adult... :)
